ideas | VALENTINE'S DAY PRINTABLES

Here are some more ideas for your printables.

This is the best part of Valentine's Day in my opinion - DESSERT!

The cheesecake has become a bit of a signature with me, its just so easy and very very nice! So here it is for you to add to your repertoire.  (The one in the pictures is a miniature one, the heart filled with raspberries and grated chocolate sprinkled on top.)

White Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients:
1 packet biscuits (I use butternut snaps)
150g butter (melted)
500g cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup cream - make sure you buy one with a high fat content (yes sorry, this is not one for those on a diet)
1 block white chocolate (at least 180g)

Method:
1. Line a spring form cake tin with greaseproof paper.
2. Place biscuits in a food processor and pulse until crumbs.
3. Add butter a little at a time until the crumbs stay together when pressed against the side of the food processor.
4. Press crumbs into base of cake tin.
5. Place in the fridge to set.
6. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add the caster sugar and beat for about one minute.
7. Add the cream and beat until combined.
8. Melt white chocolate, add to the cream cheese and beat until combined.
9. Put cream cheese mixture on top of the crumbs and leave in fridge to set for a couple of hours.
10. EAT! J

And then there's the Lindt chocolate!

Enjoy!

Remember, we'd love to see what you do with them so please email your photos to us and we'll feature you on the blog!

ideas | VALENTINE'S DAY PRINTABLES

We promised you some ideas for your free Valentine's Day printables and here's the first of them.  Breakfast in Bed! Who wouldn't love that on Valentine's Day?!

This probably wasn't the most healthy option for breakfast but it did taste fantastic!
(Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, spinach and avocado on toast)

If you didn't grab these while they were free we are planning on getting these into our Etsy store next week.

Remember, we'd love to see what you do with them so please email your photos to us and we'll feature you on the blog!

make | CROCHET HEADBAND

I found this gorgeous headband pattern on Etsy and as I haven't had the crochet hook out for a while, I thought I'd give it a try. It said it was easy and it was and I think the outcome is just adorable. So very cute.

If you want this pattern, check out Busy Mom Designs - (not a typo for my Aussie readers).

Anyone can catch your eye, but it takes someone special to catch your heart.

In anticipation of our first listing in our Etsy store (we're very excited), we are giving away our Valentine's Day printables for 2 weeks.  Tell your friends and family to grab these now!

I just love pink and black together.

We'd love to see what you do with them so please email your photos to us and we'll feature you on the blog!

You can use a 2" scallop punch on these with just the first page, or if you'd like to layer them, use a 1.5" round punch on the second page and the 2" scallop punch on the last page. If you don't have punches, just cut them out and use them square.  Still adorable!  If you want to buy a punch, I use Scrapbook Boutique (Australian) for scrapbook supplies, but most craft stores should sell them.

We'll also be featuring some ideas for you over the next few weeks so you can spoil your loved one in style.  Or maybe, send them a link to the blog as a hint to how they can spoil you!!

You can download these for two weeks from here! (this download is no longer free)

wish list | THREE TIER CAKE STAND

How do I not have a tiered cake stand?!  I have cupcake towers, I have single cake stands, but I've never owned a tiered cake stand like this.

It is a true story that I have so much cake and party serving ware and accessories that most of it is packed in boxes in the spare bedroom until I need it next.  I'm sure one more small, clean, white, very purdy tiered cake stand won't make a difference will it?  And this one is on sale!  I'm sure I need it right?

Or maybe I should be buying a bigger house first! J

UPDATE - I bought two!
